First try at a fundraising description was . . . September 6, 2009

. . . in a word, dismal.

In between publishing SPLENDOR IN MIDLAND at Scribd ( http://www.scribd.com/doc/19413372/Splendor-in-Midland-Episode-One ) and working on Mayonnaise in My Cake and Other Holiday Delights, I tried writing a description to launch a fundraising effort.

I am struggling between artistic and commercial.

The artistic side wants to talk about character and story development, creating radio drama for new audiences, and releasing an anthology of literary, contemporary, and historical scripts.

The commercial side wants a million people to buy the book.

Some urgency would be a plus, too.

Perhaps Sunday will be more successful.
