Elizabeth Guy’s ReadingWriters has announced its Dynamic Dialogue Contest. From the website, Elizibeth notes the many uses of dialogue:

The words that flow from real people are not the same as those that flow from fictitious ones. We may engage in idle chit-chat from sunrise to sunset, with no goal in sight, but they who emerge from the imagination may not enjoy such leisure. From the moment they open their mouths, they have a job to do: reveal character, advance the story.”

She has challenged writers to tell a complete story with only dialogue. No narrative, no he said, and no she replied. “Everything in quotes.”

THE TABLE

Two Plus Plus Productions LLC has sent for consideration its audio theatre offering titled THE TABLE. It’s about an empty table set for six. But who are the guests? And will they come?

Wish us luck with THE TABLE.
