An international cast discusses the upcoming futuristice ghost detective series SOUL RIFT

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – August 20 2008 – Laura Post, Xander Davis, David Ault, and others part of the highly anticipated Dreamseed production ‘Soul Rift’ audio series sit down for an in-depth interview about their roles in the show and the strength of its concept. The show is set to debut to the world with Episode 01 “Masochism”, launching exclusively in conjunction with the launch of new audio theatre collective Echo Fiction at www.echofiction.com on Tuesday September 2nd at 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time.

Soul Rift will be the first ‘Echo Fiction Original’ title, its story about a ghost police force centered around a woman detective and her dead partner. Creator and Executive Producer Xander Davis claims its “a twenty-first century ghost story,” setting that familiar genre into a futuristic and high-tech world. In that world of Soul Rift, advanced sound technology can tune in a quantum world of ghosts among the living, utilizing sound as a key story component in Dreamseed’s latest flagship audio theatre production.

The production stars Laura Post as a strong and driven Detective Alice Walker, Xander Davis as the ghostly detective Spectre, David Ault as the sarcastic genius Doctor Julian Worsley, and Jim Barbour as a dedicated and by-the-numbers Chief Marcus Herrington.

Guest starring in Episode 01 “Masochism” are Keaton Wooden as the grimy club bouncer Fever and Spectre’s arch-nemesis Osiris, Tara Branham as the murdered masochistic ghost Sharon, and Shelby Putt as the eerie artificial intelligence system Arges.

Soul Rift also features a main theme song composed by renowned and award-winning film and video game composer Jesper Kyd, known best for his work on the Hitman video game franchise.
