Why radio works: Harry Potter and Severus Snape July 25, 2007

In the recently released Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and Severus Snape have a bruising series of exchanges in which Potter is increasingly frustrated. Within their dialogue is the following:

POTTER: (FIGHTS BACK) I’m not weak!
SNAPE: (COOLLY) Then prove it.

Although the referenced dialogue is well set within the marvelous film, it could as easily have been in any radio drama.

Radio works. Muggle-made or wrought by witches, radio works.
