Anne Cammon, host of Art Waves on Columbia University’s WKCR, is popping up across the station’s program schedule. As if that’s not enough, she’s also had a review and story recently published. Details for all are as follows:

  • An interview with David Evanier, former fiction editor of The Paris Review, about his new novel, “The Great Kisser.”

  • The Rock Poetry Show!  This show will explore the shouted, sung and chanted word, with music by Shawn Mafia and the Ten Cent Thrills, Nadsat Fashion, Sweet Crude Bill and The Lighthouse Nautical Society, and Patient Zero, featuring special guest Jackie Sheeler, who will read her poetry and discuss her title, “Poet Laureate of Riker’s Island.”


A review of Lara Tupper’s “A Thousand and One Nights” in Eleventh Transmission.

A new story, “The Jazz Musician” in ken*again.

  • An interview with Philip Miller, composer of “REwind: A Cantata for Voice, Tape, and Testimony,” a musical arrangement based on recordings from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa. “REwind” is part of the Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival.

On the 25 June edition of Arts & Answers (Monday, 6/25/07 9:30-10:00 PM), Anne talked with film director Pascale Ferran about her recently released film, “Lady Chatterly,” based on the novel by D.H. Lawrence.  In English and French.

Unfortunately, Lit Between the Ears did not receive the notice prior to the program.
