PORTLAND, Maine – Thursday 22 March 2007 – In cooperation with FinalRune Productions, the Radio Drama Revival! radio show/podcast is excited to announce its first live performance during community radio station WMPG’s spring pledge drive, airing TODAY, Thursday 22 March 22, from 1:00-1:30PM EST on 90.9/104.1 in the Portland, Maine market and streaming online at http://www.wmpg.org/ .

Satire and Sci-fi

Radio Drama Revival! starts this afternoon as a normal show, with Stephanie Sample in the station to chat about her recent adventures. But, an asteroid hurtling from outer space and media refugees from another dimension soon make things a little weirder. A land where all the media has been consolidated in the hands of an evil empire, where proponents of free speech are imprisoned and have to flee for their lives to distant galaxies – what planet are these guys from?

Ridiculous satire, unscrupulous sci-fi clichés, and a celebration of independent media await during this very special live performance.  By supporting WMPG with a pledge of $30 or more, and you’ll receive a double-CD set of all the FinalRune Productions work to date.
