Publication exceeds weekly goal

(By Spear at 4,591) Lit Between the Ears – Celebrating the Power and People of Radio Drama recorded 331 hits for the week of Sunday 11 March – Saturday 17 March. The publisher’s weekly target of 275 hits was exceed by 20.4%. However, the blog had 21 fewer hits than the week before, a decline of 6.3%.

“The Three Questions interview with Jens Hewerer was the hit of the week,” said William Spear, Publisher and Editor. “Jens’ interview generated nearly 30% of the weeks entire hits. We’ve extended and invitation to Jens to keep us informed on the adventures of Billy Bear and Emma.”

When asked about the lateness of the weekly results posting, Spear denied that Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Korbel were impediments to the posting.

Hits for the most recent five weeks are as follows:

  • Sunday 11 March – Saturday 17 March: 331
  • Sunday 04 March – Saturday 10 March: 352
  • Sunday 25 February – Saturday 03 March: 339
  • Sunday 18 February – Saturday 24 February: 393
  • Sunday 11 February – Saturday 17 February: 444

Total number of hits for the previous four weeks was 1,528. The average of the same four weeks was 382, 38.9% above the weekly goal of 275.

Publisher’s note: Lit Between the Ears is calculating the rolling average based upon the preceding four weeks rather than including the current week. This is a change from our previous methods of calculating longer term trends. In future results posts, four week averages will be compared.
