Publication exceeds weekly goal; four week average also above target

(By Spear at 2,745) Lit Between the Ears – Celebrating the Power and People of Radio Drama recorded 373 hits at its publication for the week of Sunday 04 February – Saturday 10 February. This exceeded the publisher’s goal of 250 hits per week.

“The publication’s performance for the week from February 4-10 was due to interest in Dirk Maggs’ interview in our Three Questions column and traffic generated by the news of Dreamseed completing principal recording for ‘Soul Rift,’” said William Spear, publisher and editor of Lit Between the Ears. “We were also pleased with the number of hits that came to us from our reciprocated link at Andrew Eglinton’s London Theatre Blog.”

Hits for the most recent four weeks are as follows:

Sunday 04 February 2007 – Saturday 10 February 2007: 373

Sunday 28 January 2007 – Saturday 03 February 2007: 335

Sunday 21 January 2007 – Saturday 27 January 2007: 288

Sunday 14 January 2007 – Saturday 20 January 2007: 289

Total number of hits during the four weeks was 1,285. The average over the same four weeks was 321, 28% above the goal of 250.

“Although we are exceeding our weekly target, we are still determining if the activity is sustainable before adjusting our targets. We anticipate weekly traffic figues to increase as we add more reciprocating links and more news is released through the publication. If we believe we can sustain higher numbers, then we will adjust our weekly goals accordingly.”

The next results will be posted during the weekend of 17-18 February.
