Great Beginnings September 15, 2006

Posted by William Spear in >> Great Beginnings, >> Radio Drama.

Great radio must hold the audience’s attention throughout the entire program. Thirty seconds of a lackluster show is the quickest invitation for listeners to switch to other programs.

The first step in attracting an audience is a standout introduction. The Great Beginnings series is the opening lines of programs from all genre. Each intro establishes the shows’ style, pacing, form and purpose.

Enjoy them as you read them. Each show’s episode began in the first few lines of dialogue, music or sound effects. Each show started with a Great Beginning.
