Enjoy works from John Cage, David Claman, Barbara Monk Feldman, Christian McLeer, David Morneau, Wolfgang von Schweinitz, and Robert Voisey as presented through a collaboration between Jan Hus Church, the Remarkable Theater Brigade, and Vox Novus.
The concert is offered Sunday July 27th at 1:00 PM at Jan Hus Presbyterian Church and Neighborhood House at 351 East 74th Street (between First and Second Avenues nearer First on the north side of the street) in New York.
Admission is free.

Robert Voisey, Founder of Vox Novus, which promotes contemporary music and its creators through concert performances, recordings, publishing, and publicity on radio and through the Internet, is competing for a $10,000 award from ideablob.
Vox Novus’ 60X60 Online Submission Process is the means for competing. The Online Submission Process creates an online file submission for compositions that will make the process of sending, receiving, sorting and filing submissions infinitely more manageable.
Voisey is competing with other entrepreneuers. Winners are determined by the number of votes received and the current competition is only until Friday 14 March.
60X60 Description
Quoting from the ideablob page: “The 60×60 project is a one hour concert containing 60 recorded works 60 seconds in length that is performed in venues through out the world, giving a great many composers the opportunity to have their work heard. The online submission engine will allow composers to upload their songs as .aiff and .wav files along with their biographies for the annual submission process rather than mailing them in, a time-consuming and expensive process. Judges from around the world will be able to listen to these works remotely in order to choose the semi-finalists for the final 60, who will be included in the 60×60 International Mix.”
