Anne joins the Salaam series in a tribute to the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish on Wednesday January from 6-8 PM at The Cornelia Street Cafe.
About Poetry Salaam: Fareed Bitar hosts an intimate literary salon with some of NYC’s most insightful, provocative, and creative writers / musicians sharing their work about their personal, political, and cultural perspectives of Palestine, Israel, Iraq, Egypt, The United States, and the Middle East as Arabic-Americans and non-Arab-Americans, living in America and abroad.
“This reading is a tribute to the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish and to the victims falling in the Gaza strip,” says Cammon.
