Last week, David Gregory, Chief White House Correspondent for NBC, hosted the morning drive time show on WFAN 660 AM in New York. While appearing on the show, he shared some stories from his “affluent” [our word] upringing in Los Angeles.
According to Mr. Gregory, his father described “roughing it” as staying in a hotel with no concierge. A priceless moment that brought some welcome laughter in the midst of a New Jersey commute.
No visuals were involved other than those created. Just a bit of storytelling from a skilled communicator.
Radio works.
